Can't find nanokey for Hazard Lab storage closet at Vandenberg

I disposed of the two MJ12 troopers outside of the Haz Lab and talked with the researcher at the same location, but I don't have the nanokey to get into the locked storage closet with the scientist inside. Two walkthroughs I've looked at say that the nanokey should be near the dead body in the crawlspace behind the grate underneath the electrical panel at the other end of the building, but I searched that location thoroughly and there was no key there. Is this a glitch with my saved game, or is the key missing from the GOTY edition?

No, I have enough. I just prefer to find the nanokey rather than use several lockpicks. And yes, that walkthrough says the key is supposed to be there, but it's missing in my game. If the walkthrough is correct (is it?), then it must be a glitch in my saved game.

Hmmm...I just restarted Vandenberg from a saved game taken right after arriving, ran straight to where the Haz Lab Storage nanokey was supposed to be, and it wasn't there. The dead body was there, as usual, but no key. I think the walkthroughs are wrong about that key, at least if you have the GOTY edition like I do. Looks like I'll have to use those lockpicks after all.
