Can't exit Agroprom underground through designated point. - by Ostriig

BTW, didn't you forget to search Strelok's hideout in the underground? It's important for getting a true ending.
I had a brief look around, but all I found was the flash drive (then the quest updated), a bandit suit, an artifact and two Kalashnikovs. I think I found a medkit, too, and busted two wooden crates, but they were empty. Did I miss something important? Or is there a different hideout?
P.S. Might as well ask this here - What does "Save Game Level" do?

That's what I meant, OK then.

What? :) Do you mean auto save option?

Never saw that on S.T.A.L.K.E.R. unmodded...

Ah, well that might actually have cleared it up. I went to the Stalker Complete 2009 site and did a search for "save". I think that menu option might be the corespondent for this added shortcut:

Might wanna go back and have another look at those two AK's (also i think theres Stalker armor in another two crates behind the pipe) :p
In the unpatched game the respawn rate used to be ridiculous so when going back thru the manhole ya came in youd mostly end up right smack in the middle of a freshly beamed in bandit platoon XD

Ooh! All I got was a bloody bandit suit. I think I still have a save there, so I'll check to see if there's anything left in that place. As for the AKs, one was a standard short model, the other was a full one with increased refire rate, so I only took the latter with me.
I'm patched up to 1.0005, and the respawn is still kinda silly. I mean I encountered a bandit near the entrance I'd cleared about an hour before (while never leaving the level), and I'm also rather certain that I had a military bloke respawn behind me just 15 minutes after I cleaned out that particular point.

A lot of people seem to be using Complete on a first run through and I don't think they should be. There's not much wrong with it (visuals very nice, mucks with the lighting contrast too much though. Still moonlight is great).
But a few things are changed by it that shouldn't be. The Bloodsuckers (no eyes, too tough) and Controllers (terrible sounds stolen from Half Life) are much better in vanilla for instance (but now the Snorks sound great). You can still die of starvation in your sleep too.
It's a pretty neat mod pack all told, but not without a few minuses.

Heh, tell me about it...
Still, I'm not gonna be taking the thing off now. I imagine my playthrough's gonna be a bit different than originally intended by the devs, but so far I'm enjoying myself a lot anyway.

I've been thinking about adding Complete, but right now I've just left labx18 so fairly far along in the game if I recall right.
I did some reading on Stalker Complete and it says you don't need to start a new game if you don't have any problems loading old save games. Anyone know if this is true?
Plus I would think Complete would require better computer specs as well. Seeing as my GFX card is old, (8600GT), not sure if it would be worth it. Although being able to use dynamic lighting has made a huge difference in graphics compared to my old X700 Pro. The game is still gorgeous even though fairly old.
As to the game itself, I'm enjoying it far more than my first time through and had forgotten just how fuckin good it is. That is some scary shit creeping into that lab.
