After searching for a while for people with a similar problem, I decided it was time to ask. I'm playing Arx Fatalis on the Xbox. It's very early in the game, and I have picked up a rock or wall block. I cannot put it down. I have tried every button or gizmo on the controller, but Am Shaegar refuses to put down this rock. I need him to let go. There are no psychologists in that dank dungeon to teach him how to be free of this attachment, so maybe someone knows the necessary controls to do this.
The manual did not provide me with any information about this particular problem, either.

not sure about x-box.....but you sort of "fling" stuff out of your hand. Maybe I am stupid, but that's how I do it....

From playing it some time ago, that's what I seem to recall as well. The problem I'm having is, no button on the controller allows me to do that! I'm beginning to suspect a technical problem rather than a merely ignorance/lack of memory. Thanks for replying though!
