This is my version since HD mod 0.8.6
Jesus christ. You're replacing a 64x64 texture with a 1024x1024 texture??? That's insane. No wonder your mod crashes so many people's computers.
Now, the two textures NecroBob posted above actually have a reason to be that big. The marble texture is huge to reduce tiling artifacts, and the stone texture is huge because that texture is applied at a very large scale, so it can actually make use of the extra resolution.

The high textures patch is for computer with configuration higher than the base configuration required for Thief/Thief II because the system of gestion of memory is not really efficient i think (but i hope that the mysterious developpers of New Dark work on it).

That's really beside the point that ZB is trying to make.

I can always reduce the size if needed.

Excellent find and work Necrobob :D. I'd like to see improved versions all banner models with your textures, especially the pole part which is now just a lowpoly rectangle.

Those are very nice indeed! Out of curiosity, what's the source? Looks like a miniature in a codex. :D

Fifteenth century French manuscript illustration found on a German site detailing Conwy Castle in Wales. Strange are the paths we walk sometimes.
