No matter which thread on ttlg I'm trying to read, the text from the first (and last post) on each page doesn't show up.
I can see the box where the user info is displayed but the box with the text remains empty.
This happens only on ttlg, none of the other forums I tried show this glitch.
I tried Internet explorer and it works there, so it apparently has to do with the firefox browser.
Has anybody encountered this problem or know how o fix it?

This does sound strange. A screenshot would be very helpful as Brethren suggests. I'd also suggest forcing a full refresh with ctrl + F5 to avoid any out of date styles that might be causing this. I've known Firefox to be a bit reluctant at properly refreshing this way at times so you might need to try it more than once.
If that fails I'd suspect it's linked to a plugin - try starting Firefox in safe mode and disable all add-ons and see if that helps.
