I saw (
http://www.playagainstallodds.com) this on the BBC. Do you know what it takes to survive a dictatorship and get out alive? We might never have to know but for me, I'd be doomed. I'd be lucky to make it out my front door let alone the country.
I think the point is not necessarily what is your opinion whether it is right or wrong but more what answer THEY want to hear. Even the answers you think are the "right" ones to give or you think they'd want to hear, its not so black and white, and the reasons that you think are the correct answers may not coincide with theirs because rarely is anything about war/hostages/refugees etc are logical.
Kind of a neat concept I thought.

You can, if you run to the nearest embassy, whatever is it.

This game was really easy... I don't think it reflects the difficulty of running away and living in a whole different country at all.

That (the game) is what is called "indoctrination". Well, some of it anyway. :p

I couldn't bring myself to play all of it. So which part is indoctrinating?

Liberal Guilt?

If by "indoctrination" you mean "boring as hell" I second you.
Hell, chapter 1:4 : you must ecape the border and you can choose before FOUR routes, each complete with different possibilities! Sweet!
1)You're too poor for a plane ticket
2)Boat is full
3)Walking=mines=no no.
4)Truck is ok...
WELL SCREW YOU!

Liberal Guilt?
You mean I should feel guilty for not playing a flash game? Even if I hadn't been through fleeing a country, I doubt I would.

I'm not fucking with anybody with dogs that big.
I'll become a mindless drone.

It all seems like a pitiful way to protest to me.
