Just for the record, apart from your Great House stronghold you can get another one (well, a big house at the middle of a town you oversee) via the East Empire company in Bloodmoon.

Is that an expansion thing, Chimpy?
RyushiBlade on 10/2/2004 at 21:21
The village is part of Bloodmoon, an expansion pack. But the three great houses in Morrowind don't require an expansion pack for your stronghold.

Thanks, Ryushi! So the stronghold quest is a great house quest? I'll have to figure that out. Everyone in House Hlaalu says they have no more work for me.

Every house has a specific character responsible for the contruction of strongholds. The Hlaalu one, IIRC, is Dondos Driler, who should be in the front hall of the Council House in Balmora.

Btw, don't forget to ask for advancement; certain quests only open up when you get to a certain level. Also, you may want to check out this page to see if there's any quest-givers you missed out on.

Wow, thanks you guys. I hesitate to even ask this, but: How do you KNOW all this stuff?
This game would not be nearly as fun without all of your knowledge.
Thanks!
RyushiBlade on 13/2/2004 at 21:42
Eh. I've only been playing it for a year or two... and despite the expansiveness of the game, we've done mostly all the average stuff. That and I've got the Morrowind Prophecies Book... heh... But seriously, I rarely use it except for the map. I haven't actually used it in around 6 months.
