I have just downloaded GOGs Thief Gold and when i tried to install the latest TFix, the install told me that 'A valid Thief installation was not found in the selected directory'
GOG by default sets up a GOG games file so my directory path is c:/games/GOG games/Thief Gold so i moved the TG install to c:/games/Thief Gold and that did not work either, on top of that the game would not run, so i have had to go back to the GOG default path
does any one know which TFix the current GOG version is patched with, and if it is older than the latest v1.22 new dark patch can anyone advise me how to patch with the v1.22 Newdark patch

Edit: i think i have just found the problem, in the GOG version there is a 'THIEF_ND.exe' but there is no 'THIEF.exe' which my darkloader is asking for......not being too clever with computers, does it make sense to change the name of the THIEF_ND.exe' to 'THIEF.exe' or am i pushing my luck with that idea ?

If you do a search of the TFix thread for Thief_ND.exe you'll find the answer - I can't now remember whether it's a straightforward rename or if it's recommended to back it up first.
Edit. You just need to rename it. I saw some comment from voodoo about GOG renaming it but this obviously hasn't happened yet.
