I don't know if I got big stashes, I'm not such a loot horder since I never seem to need them anyway. ammo is enough on the corpses. artifacts are everywhere, even armor can be found and weapons are taken from the dead.
if there are not enough dead, I make some :ebil:

I seriously think it's the game, I read the GSC forum and there are people with PCs worse than my old PC and they don't get stuttering, then there are people with Quadcores and 8800GTX or Ultra and they get stuttering.

I guess I just got lucky. but to be fair, I didn't find the stuttering too annoying on my old pc. freeze was never longer than 3 secs with me.

Lots of stuff in boxes can cause freezing, but if you put your it in corpses ya get none, strangely. I had one in Wild Territory with like thousands of bullets, several hundred bandages and medkits and whatnot. Everytime id get near it id get huge lags. When i did the mission to attack the dutiers there with Max and some freedom guys as we got near the blue box of evil the game froze for like 20 seconds. After it unfroze i noticed everyone apparently had gotten bored waiting for me and gone home. Reloaded, dragged one of the dead freedom guys from the start to the box and transfered my stuff, shazam, lags gone. :erm:

Some spare cash came my way, so I brought STALKER.

Nice game, but had to turn the detail alot down to get a decent framerate.
