I haven't had much experience with the T3Ed, mainly because I have had my nose in books for the past two weeks (and still should be while writing this). So could I get some answers of what can be done from those who have been messing with the editor when it came out.
1. New AI models. Can they be done?
2. New static meshes. I understand that these can be done, but you currently need 3dsMax 5.1, right?
3. Locational damage. I'm not sure, but does the engine support locational damage? Even something like the locational damage in Thief 2 would do.
4. New weapons. I guess the real question is about custom motions? Any leads whether this is possible.
The reason why I'm asking, is that there is a plot for a vampire mission and I have said that I would be making one. I'm currently capable of doing it in Dromed, but T3Ed might have more potential in it than the good old (evil) dromed.
Thank you.

Yes, to some (wide) extent. Many AI parameters are set up with properties, and many custom behaviours can be "programmed" with scripts.

So it seems.

There is already a multiplier for hitting vulnerable parts while your opponent is not alert, and you can specify these "vulnerable" parts by yourself, as well as "being not alert". If you want more precision, you will probably need to make your own scripts, but it shouldn't be very difficult.

That's far beyond my scope of "competence", but I guess the answer is correlated with answer to question number 2.

Well, frankly, I don't think vampires fit the setting. But I think it's possible to make a vampire in T3Ed. I think you could even make light shafts that set the poor creature on fire. And equip player with holy hammer vampire repellant.

I would like to see a vampire mission, however it might be hard. It would probably take a lot of custom static meshes to seem really original.
