Hi taffers, long time no see! Well, I've been busy as all hell, explaining my absence, and what I've been doing is, well, wooing a beautiful woman! My wedding is one month away, and we've tentatively chosen a song for the ceremony. This is where my need for sound editors comes in: we're playing an instrumental song for our wedding, but at 30 seconds in, stupid Leo DiCaprio starts whispering in an angsty voice. We need someone who can remove that sound from an mp3. Any takers to this fine and virtuous challenge? I promise pictures of the wedding for all taffers!

I'm sorry, KM, but by using the word taffer in commchat you just drove almost everyone away. Don't blame yourself, blame them. I would help you if I could but I'm afraid I barely can find the on/off-button on my computer.

Nothing like stirring the pot for the sake of it, eh? Numpty.
Congratulations on your impending nuptuals Keeper Mallinson! Sadly I am not technically proficient in that area, but hopefully someone can help here.

Bah, there's "Old Hat", and then there's heritage. I've been here ten years, and my beloveds hold the term dear to their hearts.

I might give it a whirl if you like. Can't promise anything, though.

It only drives away the people that you wouldn't want posting in this thread anyway.
Or any threads, really.

Its over-use does make even people still somewhat involved in Thief scene cringe, though. It begins to feel similar to when people say "lol" for every other word.

I can try too, though I'm not sure how successful I'll be. I tried removing voice from songs before and it's not really an easy thing to do without the right things at hand.

Might give it a try.

It might help if he actually said what the song is. He seems more fixated on the solution (remove Leo's voice from particular MP3 file) than on the desired end state (vocal-free song).
