Really enjoying this free xbox live gold weekend - although I've sofar had my ass totally handed to me on multiplayer mw2.
Spec Ops is brilliant though; I was playing coop with a mate and while we're just on the "alpha" series of missions; we were screaming down the crappy xbox mic's at each other for a full 2hours.
I restarted the single player on Veteran difficulty yesterday aswell...300 deaths later I've reached Act II - fuck me its hard work but incredibly good feeling when you see that "Checkpoint" message pop up.
Makes me want to play MW1 though.
Gimme a buzz if anyone wants to play some hot xbox action.

Well, to be fair, it depends on your definition of civilian and whether or not the AI will ever finish the mission for you. I literally waited about 20 minutes for them to kill the last handful of cops before finally launching a single grenade at them and finishing the level.

Actually I parked my ass behind cover and went downstairs and made some soup/coffee after getting tired of waiting for the level to end, came back upstairs and they were still firing randomly and missing. So I whipped out the m203 and fired a single shot. Mission over.

The part that you're missing is that THAT SINGLE POINT was his whole reason for contrasting it against the likes of Grand Theft Auto and other games that somehow involve civilian murder. Without it, his entire argument falls apart.
