I can't seem to find the forum rules, if it's against the forum rules to post adds like this then please just remove this post.
It looks nice in my bookshelf but i really need the money right now and i'm sure it'll find a nice new home amongst a SS fan here on TTLG :D
It's in very nice condition, there is very little wear as you can see in the pictures. It has both manuals, box, CD-ROM. The CD reads perfectly and is in very good condition, too. Manual is never opened, the CD has been used 2 times (installed it once, and i just checked it now so that it reads well).

I'm asking $90 + shipping (they usualy go for $100-200 on ebay when complete and in good shape like this). Will go to the highest bidder, bid in the thread or email me with bid and i'll update the thread. I have paypal, or money could be transfered to a swedish bank account.

That's still available brand new on ebay but in light of the whole floppy version being inferior to the cd, it seems less valuable to me to have the "original" because it's like a different game. The system shock we all know and love has audio so I think I'd rather go for that.
Vurt: Is yours a different distribution of the game? I ask because the box art is on a sleeve of sorts and from this picture on ebay it comes in a box. Also the CD is a different colour......and one says enhanced version while the other has a CD logo or stamp on it.

Not that I think one is better or worse at all.....I'm simply curious about the difference.

To be honest i have no idea why its different. This copy was distributed in Sweden, maybe its different from an american bought copy.
You're the highest bidder, i'll end the auction on tuesday 15.00 (GMT + 1:00, Central Europe Standard Time) (

...And about floppy vs CD.. The floppy version might have been first, but there's no medium as unreliable as floppies, e.g i have Ultima 7, Ultima 7 II and Underworld 2 on floppy, i doubt that any of those floppies works anymore, i know that they hade reading problems like 10 years ago when i tried them the last time, i highly doubt they've gotten any better ;)

Is the documentation and stuff still in English?
I know what ur sayin about the floppies. I have several corrupted ones. On the other hand I also have several 5.25" floppies that still have good data on them so i guess it's hit and miss.

Yes, everything is in english.
It contains both the normal 4MB version and the enhanced CDROM version.

I can confirm that vurt's version is the European boxed version of the CD game; I have exactly the same one from the UK release. Those old EA boxes were lovely.

My floppy version box is exactly like that as well.
