interestingly, without guardian unlimited, the newspaper would go bankrupt pretty quickly based on the number of copies of the print version it sells everyday (about 500,000, as opposed to around 9 million website views daily).

Actually, it's other titles in the group that keep the loss-making
Guardian afloat, notably
AutoTrader and
Manchester Evening News. And thank god for that, because
The Guardian is comfortably the best daily around!

indeed, we get the guardian and if I buy a paper over the next 4 years when I'll be mostly living away from home it will be high on the list.
