Folks, go play INMOST!

(the trailer is bad so here's an Escapist review)
It's an Inside/Limbo/Another World kinda thing. The monochrome pixelart mixed with soft lighting and particle effects looks great and I'm very intrigued by the story. I'm amazed I hadn't heard of this game until now.
Also good:
(
https://leylinestudios.itch.io/only-one-burn) Only One Burn - lander game where the twist is that you can only fire off one 3 second throttle burst per level. I like lander games and I like this one.
(
https://chinykian.itch.io/serious-scramblers) Serious Scramblers - 2-button platformer where you're always decending. The gameplay is tight and the challenge ramps up at a good pace.
(
https://siactro.itch.io/toree3d) Toree 3D - 3D platformer with tight controls and gameplay so fun I played through the whole thing in one sitting. I mean ok, the whole thing was less than half an hour long, but still good!
Not good:
Penance - very barebones FPS with religious motif and very dull gameplay.
Clean Attack - A physics-based window-cleaning game is a good idea, but the execution here is very bad.

that actually looks very nice, definitely grabbing this bundle. My daughter already bought it and was playing some cool looking 3d tower game.
This also has Cross Code, which is an amazing fresh take on the JRPG formula.

Bought. Now I just need to hire someone to redeem it all for me.

There are (
https://twitter.com/DominicTarason/status/1501004409983152133) Chrome plugins and scripts for that, apparently. I just use the Bundle Browser to find games I like and add only those, because I wanna keep my itch account somewhat curated.
Btw according to the stats in the bundle browser, there are:
572 games in the bundle
317 physical games
102 books/comic books/tools/assets/soundtracks
Also, I finished Inmost, it was good!

Found another gem: Plunge! Fast-paced turn-based action game, kinda reminicent of Hoplite, with a cool aesthetic so much dang JUICE!

Just look how JUICY it is!

Henke please try them all and tell me what the good ones are - it'll only take you a couple of months...

There's less than 12 hours remaining to spend your money for a very good cause and buy this bundle!

I've been playing quite a lot of these games lately!
Pawnbarian: I didn't expect it to be any good, but I've been quite addicted to it. Pawnbarian is a fun little puzzle game that combines chess with a rogue-lite system - the game is played on a normal 8x8 board, but you can upgrade your chess pieces and you fight against all sorts of monsters, and try to stay alive long enough to beat the end boss. And it's tough as hell. I finally managed to finish the three dungeons on "normal" difficulty and I think I've had enough of this game, but I did manage to squeeze 3-4 hours of fun out of it! Recommended.
Inmost: Didn't see that henke had recommended it earlier. Inmost is a truly depressing 2d sidescrolling adventure game. The gameplay is pretty bad to be honest, but the story kept me going until the end. It's confusing as hell sometimes and a bit too abstract for my liking, and it really is so dark and gloomy that I wouldn't recommend it to everyone. The pixelart graphics are really good and the sounds are top notch. Play this if you're feeling too happy and you've got a couple of hours to spare?
Necroworm: This one confuses me, because GOG Galaxy claims that this one's called Omnom Necropolis and Steam calls it Necroworm. Whatever it's called, it's a fairly simple snake-puzzle-game. You have to collect all things in a level but you can step on each tile only once. There are keys and portals that spice up the gameplay a bit. You get bonus points for being quick. It's nothing special, and many of the levels seem quite easy. I've played it a couple of times for ten minutes or so, and it's not too bad.
Pikuniku: Such a strange but quite a fun puzzle platformer. Don't let the graphics put you off, Pikuniku is surprisingly charming and I had a few laughs playing this game. It's all rather silly and it's not exactly memorable, plus moving Pikuniku around and performing the actions doesn't feel very smooth, but I enjoyed the game. It's short. I like short games I guess.
Popup Dungeon: It's like a strategy boardgame with RPG/roguelike elements. I found it quite confusing and too slow-paced and boring. Played through the tutorial and couldn't figure out how the game works. There's probably a decent game in there somewhere if you spend some time to learn it, but I didn't even like how it looks, so I gave up after the tutorial missions.
Going Under: This is my favourite of the bunch so far! Going Under is a roguelite dungeon crawler spiced up with a lovely colour palette and some occasionally funny office humour. It's fairly easy for a roguelite game which I think is a good thing in this case. The gameplay mechanics don't offer anything new and you can get far with simple button mashing, but it's still deeper than you'd think. Even though you have to unlock skills (there are about a hundred of them) and level up your "mentors" during many runs through the same sort of random dungeons (there are three different themes), it's nowhere as grindy as most other games in this genre. I think it's the lighthearted humour and the fun action that I like the most about this. Going Under won't be everyone's cup of tea, but you should all try it!
More later. :D
