Clifton is weird. Part of it is really nice and part of it is an utter pissditch. Guess which part is closer to downtown?
Fortunately for me I get to see the nice part almost every day when I drive up Clifton Road to UC.
By contrast, Reading is kind of a dump, but it's not too bad. It's just the kind of neighborhood you want to leave- too densely populated, too many houses too close together. If I never get out of the 275 loop, I'll eventually resettle in one of the more woodsy parts of Blue Ash.
