Yup. I think it was quickly (6 months or so) reduced down to $20, and eventually $12.99 iirc.

Oh FFS, (http://news.bigdownload.com/2010/12/23/bulletstorm-limited-edition-revealed-games-for-windows-live-sup/) it uses GfWL. So that means that any Versus MP modes are dead on delivery and that there's no anti-cheat solution. GG Epic and People Can Fly.

So this is the game that Epic are supposedly pushing as the proof that they still care about the PC? Then they go ahead and announce GfWL and the fact there won't be a demo for the PC.

For me this is a bargain bin purchase at the best, thanks to GfWL.
(BS2 already forced me to install it and use it so any future games shouldn't have the same 2 hours of hassle, right?)

I use GFWL in like 8 games. Currently using it for GTA IV and DoW2 multiplayer. It is completely fine. I have never had an issue with it, and don't get all of the vitriol. I actually like it.
