Pretty graphics.... lots of promises... the teaser contains about three seconds of actual "gameplay" that smells of "prerendered scripted sequence" ... If anything it feels more like they're trying to sell a rendering engine rather than a game.
Not an RPG of course... the way it's described sounds like it'll have more in common with Hexen than UW. Still, weird.

ID has been doing it for years. Why not them?
But in all seriousness from what I can tell it is actual game footage. Unless the little pullback on the mouse was some clever trick. Nothing really screamed pre-rendered. Everything rendered there in real time is well within a modern GPU's grasp.

It seem sthe team is only 3 people and self funded. I don't blame them for trying to sell the engine when they are looking for a publisher to take interest.
