I found a bug, the game is calculating the wieght of my stuff incorrectly. (Yes, I installed both patches)
Description below. Now what do I do about this? I read all the FAQs, searched the websites (bethesda, ubi-soft european, german, uk etc etc) and I found a dozend unhelpfull tips, two dozend support email addresses, but no specific place to report the bug.
Maybe somebody else encountered this?
Description:
It seems that the game sometimes mis-calculates how many stones of stuff you carry around. When you pick up a thing, the weight is added to your inventory, and when you put it down, the weight is subtracted. But if the weight-counter is wrong, it will not be corrected until something causes items to "change" and the game recalculates the entire weight.
I have a savegame, standing in the Mages Guild, and the counter says I have 233 pounds (stones) out of 320 I can carry. I calculated the weight manually and if I didn't do anything wrong, the counter *should* say 333.7 (it will be rounded down probably).
Now, if I train myself to alchemy level 9 (from 7) at the same spot, the counter changes to 333/320 and I can no longer move (encumbered).
The same happens when training speechcraft at another location.
Spooky, isn't it?
Now I am going to install one of these plugins that give the PC a house in B. and put a little bit of stuff there. I dunno how it came that my weight counter got wrong. Maybe that is the reason that I can swim in full plate armor! ;)
