Wow, David, seriously? You are the first person I have heard mention that exploit.
{edit} damn...... page 2'd

Chameleon. Usually appears normally (i.e. the Predator effect). But sometimes the cloaked person will e.g. start leaving traces, or put gibberish (stray pixels, will add a screenshot next time) on the rest of the screen, making it obvious where the invisible character is. The worst thing is, the bug, once seen, does't disappear. That is, the graphic effects vanish when the cloaked character gets off-screen, but you'll see them for sure the next time you see a chameleon. And all the subsequent ones.
Oh yes, it corrupts savegames as well. Saving with bug activated (even when not visible) will cause it to appear even after rebooting.

Doubtful that this is a bug, but whenever I cast chameleon 30%, my character just completely disappears. There's no Predator effect or anything. It may be my videocard - can anyone tell me if that effect requires Shader Model 3.0? (Which may be Arael's problem as well)
Arael on 22/4/2006 at 22:21
SM3.0?
My character becomes transparent (Predator) at lower valuer of Chameleon and invisible at higher (100%)

I am going to say no. My 9800 PRO is flawless here. Also, IIRC SM 3.0 is basically just a better performing version (way better optimized code) of SM 2.0/

"Wah, wah, why doesn't Oblivion allow me to become god so noone can hurt me??"
not quite sure what you are getting at here...but I have a couple rings and shields that reflect combat and spell damage... i dont remember what % spell damage is at, but the reflect damage is at 101%. So, all I really have to do is stand there, while my enimies beat themselves to death..or somesuch. Godlike? I think so..the only time I die is when I forget to look at my health, and/or i get swamped by +6 guys.
Ive got 4 other bugs
one included the text she was saying didnt match the words she was saying. It was from Sister Phebe Jeanard, from Gottlesfront Priory.
another, was one of the wine people west of Skingrad, it was like he was wearing mask... It looked like he had two faces, one still and didnt move, and another that did move. When he spoke, his lips could partially be seen moving, having clipping conflictions with the "still" face.
Also, when you ask certain people about Hieronymus Lex, they talk about the Grey Fox, and mention that he's probably just a myth.
but when you
wear the Grey Cowl,
and initiate dialog, they say OMG WTF??!?!
its the Grey Fox!!the most renown thief of all time! Or something to that effect. Then, when
you ask about Mr Lex, once again, he claims to think that the grey fox is a myth.
EDIT:
yet another quest bug:
the quest,
a brotherhood betrayed, or something is messed up. I have to meet someone in the tavern up in Bruma (he told me to meet ihm there in "one hour")
I hit the wait key, for one hour, headed off to the tavern...and 2 months later, he still isnt there! I wouldnt mind knowing any ideas to get around broken quests. Anyideas?

Either there's a bug at play or Resist Disease has an invisible cap.
My Redguard (+75 Resist Disease) Vampire (+100 Resist Disease) just got some disease from a rat. A lone rat, no poisons, enchantments, abilities or spells that caused Weakness to Disease.
Suilenroc on 30/4/2006 at 03:03
I'm a vamparic Redguard as well and I can get diseases... are you sure that vampires are immune to disease? You may be confusing it with paralysis, which vampires are immune to.
Phatose on 30/4/2006 at 08:00
It's likely a bug with the notification. 100% MR gives you disease immunity, but you still get the message about catching a disease - it just never shows up in the effect screen or takes effect.
