Just finished playing Undercover in Thief Gold.
I hit all 5 switches within 2 minutes, heard the crazy noise, but the bridge never extended.
I went and grabbed the first hammer and the wall builder prayer, but bridge still didn't extend.
I was able to just jump across and get the Talisman, but I find it strange that I can't get the bridge to extend.
Has anyone else run into this issue before?

I finished Undercover with NewDark a few days ago and didn't have this problem.

Fark, I wonder what I did to break it.
I have phys locked at 60 and FPS capped at 144 (monitor refresh). I wonder if I wait the 5 minutes and go through the sequence again whether it will extend.

You need the Hammer from the Priest's room to extend the bridge.

I actually have a bug to report which involves the same object. I was streaming Undercover just last night and as soon as I flipped the switch that opens the gate to the Talisman, I looked behind me and the bridge disappeared completely, poof. It wasn't there anymore. Now I've played OldDark and this never happened.

no save again, I assume?

checked the setup, this is vanilla behavior, flipping the switch will destroy the bridge. making this not happen is trivial, the question is whether it should be done.

I just thought it was strange because it would have made more sense to retract the bridge after flipping the switch, rather than completely obliterating it.

making that happen is also trivial. any comments from TDP/TG enthusiasts?
