I've just noticed that my brush scaling does not work. I can scale brushes only with my mouse. My brush scale dialog box looks like this:
Inline Image:
http://img118.exs.cx/img118/364/brushscaling6xi.jpgThere should be X, Y, Z options here, right?
Does anyone know how to solve this problem? Is there any other way to scale brushes? :(
I hope someone will be able to help me, because it is impossible to build missions without precise brush scaling... Help!

I've found it to be an arse trying to scale the brush with the mouse, so I ended up using vertex editing instead, which is probably more useful and precise. I suppose it depends exactly what you're trying to do, but I've given up on scaling entirely for the moment.
Another thought - have you tried digging around in the brush properties for a scaling parameter?

Right. There's a 'DrawScale' property under 'Render' in the Static Mesh actor properties tree, or if it's missing, it can be added. Of course, it only scales in three dimensions, and x/y/z cannot be specified individually. The same property can be added to BSP brushes.

So brush scalin does not work for you either? :( I thought that there's something wrong only with my T3Ed...

I just didn't have any luck using the mouse - there's just no precision. Get the hang of vertex editing and you'll have an easier life...

I am a little bit confused now. Is no brush scaling a common problem? Or is it just me? Is there anyone who can resize brush with Brush>Scale command?

You should be using vertext editing and not brush scaling as (I've been told, and it makes sense) it pulls brushes off the grid unless you're incredibly precise, which isn't good for BSP.

Thank you for the advice, David. I should really get rid of my DromEd habits. :)
But the question remains: is there anyone who can resize brush with Brush>Scale command in T3Ed?

Change grid size to 1, solves the problem.

I didn't get it to work, too. Seems to me that it's either disabled/turned off or just bugged!
