Just thought I would let you know that the mission is broken. I can't get the hammer to appear in the beginning. Any updates on the new version Yandros? Looks like we can't play until its done.
Edit: I can also confirm the new nvscript don't fix it either. Any idea what the issue is or when the new working version will be out Yandros? I'm hoping soon

An update has been tested and a few issues found, but I've not yet made time to look at them and try to fix them. The good news, though, is that nobody had the issue you saw so hopefully it will help you too.

Just tried out the mission, and I can report that it works fine for me, with New Dark 1.24, and Windows 10. I started the mission 5 times in a row and it worked perfectly each time, I got the swirling hammer and was able to read the flower card OK. I have an NVscript dated 4/3/2008 in my Broken Triad directory, and a different one dated 9/13/2015 in my main T2 directory.

Out of curiosity - have you tried just restarting Thief or totally restarting PC without updating any files and scripts? I don't know why, but it works for me and I'm wondering could it work for somebody else.

I have windows 10 and new dark 1.24 and have never had the issue before. Yes I did all that and no go. I will try Unna's suggestion tonight. Question would it make a different to replace the nvscript in the broken triad fan mission directory itself or no?

Well that new script.osm worked. I don't know what changed but thanks Unna. Russ thanks for the email I will try it asap.

No problem. I guess the script.osm in the original mission is the very old VK (Gaylesaver) script, the first custom script module we had, and the one Unna linked to is Telliamed's public script which is a rewrite of the same scripts. Good to know it works, I'll make sure I'm using the same in my updated package.

There is a bug in the second mission with the star gems. When you use a star gem it is supposed to disapper from your inventory, but sometimes it does not. So basically you can just pick one and power up all the devices with it. Is it also the problem of custom scripts?
