Try to check Sheila's office.

I'm a bit worried that you found the oil flask in Sheila's office - that means one of the scripts didn't work properly. The ring wasn't frobbable for the same reason, I guess. I hope all's well in the second mission.

Yes, that worked.
However, the flower card is not working at all, and no Victrola bother to show up in my version. Plus, the signs still only work erratically (it's not a matter of looking at them steadily, some work, some just don't).
'Tis sad, because I really enjoyed Ominous Bequest.

Sounds like a script module is not working properly.

Well, I've managed to complete the campaign. Despite the difficulties in Arkford, there were no bugs on Tempest Isle.
This really is an excellent FM. I was genuinely moved by Aleph's self-sacrifice, and hoped that his Sanctuary would at least preserve his memory - although I had a feeling that the "final showdown" was to take place there. But it was really beautifully done.
About the False Light - isn't there a Star Trek episode which deals with the same phenomenon?

Hi, just want to say this is an excellent couple of missions, really and truly breathtaking
I played them a while back, now i'm doing my second runthrough, and was enjoying it until i got to the city watch place. The hallway which leads to the cells- i cannot get to the end. Everytime I start going through it, the game crashes. I have made no earlier saves, because I use quicksave and only make proper saves when I reach important checkpoints.
I would really hate to start this mission again...can anyone help me here?

I frobbed the hand of the statue located near Sheila's Apartment and received acknowledgment of a secret, but don't know how to get to the rooftop. You can't rope arrow up there, at least not from that position, and I walked around looking for an access point, but couldn't find any.
Never mind, I figured it out ....frobbing the hand creates an opening between the statue and Sheila's doorway...look up at the ceiling where a recessed square is located

How do you open the floor hatch which leads to where the Horn can be duplicated on an altar? I found the switch which opens the sliding door (located above a flooded floor) where the door leads directly to the hatch.
Maybe its because I haven't received the Bonus Objective that relates to this side mission. As a matter of fact, I haven't received ANY Bonus Objectives yet.
Another query self answered.......I quit the game and reloaded later to find that the hatch was now frobbable

Great mission so far almost done with the first mission but now when I leave the horn on the altar and all other horns dissapear when I step on some certain tiles on the floor I get thrown to the desktop with a send or don't send error so I had to jump very fast get the horn and climb the ladder before I get the error to do it. Now that I got out and was going to th e Inventor's tower the smal tunnel to the tower has another one of those spots that I get this error and also the sky sometimes glitches with some bright white cloud texture flickering on it's edges. This problem has appeared recently as I haven't played for a week maybe and I have been to the tower once and I wasn't getting this problem. Other than that it's a great mission and now off to try and bypass that problematic tunnel that leads to the Inventor's tower...
Edit: I can't even if I walk backwards when I pass through that tunnel I still get thrown to the desktop, some help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit 2: I found that when I reload an older save I can still go through the tunnel without any crashes and the sky look normal, very strange...
