Bad news (
sigh). Then again he joins a long list of authors to retire / go on to other things. Fortunately though, new Thief authors just keep coming :D
Still, replaying OB Gold & BT a few times probably won't hurt
too much....

Read many many posts trying to find how I get downstairs "opening mechanism" cant find lever switch.
Do I jump out of window into water climb ladder and enter somewhere else. Looked cannot find another way in. It must be simple as havnt found any other posts asking for help on this?:confused:
Need a clue please this mission is awesome I would not of got this far without some help from reading previous posts.:D

:cool: I thought i was nearly at the end of part two, but boy was i wrong. The FM makers and the Magnificent Eshaktaar wow!!!! is all I can say WOW. What a GREAAAAT mission the special effects are mind blowing the tension you feel waiting for chaos, or you go mad.....
I havn't finished yet but have been playing for 4 days how anyone could finish this in 5 hrs seems not real go fm testers and all whohelp put together these FM's.
Bet to get back to mission :eek:

Mantles up canopy to ledge walked to end. See red curtains try and shoot rope arrow into them wont stick. I see a door and trees across where pillars are checked that area out below after fire ball went away BUT again cant find way to door. Sick of jumping my arm hurts. :( I keep loosing life when i hit the ground. It been over an hour and a half .............. need a break but want to get across the other side.

ffox, thanks but I had read many many posts been in the archive room wet the walking skelteton fire man and now I am near the market square a fire ball roams through, I have to jump across to the dead garden get to the metal door. It's a long jump across. I have tried 50 times to jump over to the :grr:, fail fail fail. I try and jump where the long red flags or curtains but i keep falling and loose life, is this the only way. Tried rope arrows they dont stick.
Hope i have posted in correct area.

Found mission 2 posts pg 7 10/6/2008 Gillie posted same question I will try jumping again and again hope I have better luck this time.

:( I have never given up but this is so frustrating.
I have tried to jump and jump and jump and all I do is loose half my life.
If i dont need to get to that door then I will miss that gold and proceed elsewhere.
It really makes me angry that I can't jump over dead garden and metal door as I have a key and was enjoying playing especially the illusions with end of the first mission and then finding the first keeper glyph. Knowing there was heaps more to acomplish. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR:grr: Finally found similar post from GIllie but again lost my jumping skills obviously, played other missions where we have to be spiderman and scale buildings jump like tarzan rope to rope etc... Not happy JAN.
Will try another mission for now and come back tomorrow.
Thanks to those who have succeeded where i have failed. You guys are the masters. I guess I must need extra practise when I thought i had improved heaps. :weird:

I don't remember the mission too well, so I started it again to check which place you might be talking about. I still couldn't find any jump of such difficulty though; I'm getting confused ;x Can you post a screenshot or two of the place?
