because the area i am in, there isnt actually "beams" just the circular walkway! and only stone that i can see above the wooden circular walkway!

Ok, walk to the end of that stone edge, and shoot a rope arrow in the wood of the walkway. For example here:

http://i30.tinypic.com/73ngxf.jpgThen, turn to the left (you can try the right too, but here I try the left), and try to jump to this spot (for example, of course)

http://i27.tinypic.com/15rjosj.jpgIf you try to jump there and immediately 'fly' to the middle of the room, you have to move your rope arrow.
So, try to reach the spot and immediately hold 'shift' and the key you selected to go right (I use 'd'or my right arrow) and try to get onto the walkway. It probably won't work the first time, but keep trying.
This is just my method, and not even well-explained. The most important thing is: you have to reach the walkway from that stone edge, by using a rope arrow.

aw hell, now i am getting a sound problem!
am nearing the end of the "last path" part in the Necropolis, and all of a sudden i stopped getting footsteps (mine and ai's), and no weapon sounds either (neither mine nor the ai's!), it seems i am still getting the ambient sounds tho, i still hear the storm type sound from the sky.
what happened?
(all sound tests just passed in my dxdiag btw!)

I also have that problem at the Necropolis. I've found that problem only in Tempest Isle and Silent NIghtmares by Hipbreaker... I hope someone knows a solution.

it's really bizarre because everything was fine untill i got to this part of the Necropolis!

Unfortunately, that's a bug I was never able to fix, as I still don't know what exactly is causing it. On some systems it happens and on some it doesn't.

think I gots a glitch!
I went past 2 scarab bugs in the treasury hallway and it dead ends at a stone wall with heiroglyph designand i see no way past it!
