that boy must have a padlock on his arse judging by the amount of shit that comes out of his mouth
I am confused, and I believe you are mistaken, my dear GBM. As is clearly stated by his name, the boy
poos, which he would not be able to do if he were blocked in such a fashion as you describe.
Additionally, I don't believe that a padlock would be able to actually restrict the flow of fecal matter, as it is clearly not designed to lock an open orifice. A high quality plug of some sort would likely be more effective. If you would be so kind, could you please provide an explanation of how you envision this padlock working? Diagrams and charts would be most helpful to aid our understanding.
I'm specifically avoiding discussing the mathematics, because after a decade of running from my former university major, I am again learning such things in preparation for a possible run at the GMATs, and even what used to be simple to me is now making my head hurt.

And I won't even mention that the powerful abstractions it creates allow us to make general statements about entire families of mathematical structures providing we identify them as certain groups
I can't say I know as much as you do, but I took a course on linear algebra some time ago and we ran into this stuff several times. I was especially happy to learn about identity elements (I think that matrices demonstrate them really clearly).
Good to see you "Noid". I wish I knew you.

I personally don't see how the identity matrix makes the concept of identity any clearer than say, logical idempotency laws (A or !A) or just plain old 0 (under addition operator) or 1 (under multiplication operator). In fact from a visual perspective (which I always think is the most important in maths) the identity matrix doesn't make much sense at first.
The most important thing to take from this is that the identity element in any mathematical system is the essential building block; the single point from which you can build any system you require. They say the primes are the DNA of the whole numbers, but the identity (1, in this case) is the DNA of the primes.
this shit is so beautiful it kills me
but fuck that shit lets get drunk. i wish i knew everyone

More like impotency laws

I was going to say, the only thing I enjoyed more than algebraic mathematics at uni was getting shit-faced.
