:laff: Nice human font! Good idea porting the Silent Project to DX as well! This could get really extensive in larger levels like Hong Kong. Looking forward to seeing more of these! :thumb:

An excellent idea, and well done Luthien! :D
The only problem I can forsee is that of un-killable (is that even a word?) AIs - for example, your brother on Liberty Island.
Nevertheless, I can predict some bloodbaths in the future (HK anyone?). Bwhahaha etc.

Rofl, will be fun to see what happens in Hong Kong. Though I'm wondering where you'll find enough space to arrange bodies... Perhaps the roof where Max Chen lurks? :cheeky:
And I believe Azal has a sorta... half finished Silent Project with "AZAL." C'mon Azal, show the picture again. ^^
Great job Luthien. :thumb:

a great one is to arrange the bodies in the Luminous path compund,
then view the image from up here, It also makes a great vantage point
for sniping luminous path members to add to the collection.
Also the building next to it is good as well (above the market with lights on the roof)

No need to wait for Hong Kong. Hell's Kitchen is *awfully* big, and it's pretty difficult to carry bodies around in the western part (the one that is closed at first).
It's
so much easier to arrange the bodies than in Thief. Unlike there, they always fall with the head pointing away from you, although the exact position is randomized a bit.

That is why I did not post a picture for the training mission. Let's see, this are the AIs I enceountered that are invulnerable:
* The two troopers in the sneaking area of the training mission. Ten LAMs plus clubbering them for minutes with the crowbar did not even scratch them. I found it too silly to make a screen shot of the single remaining unconscious trooper.
* All the UNATCO troopers, Paul Denton and Harvey Filben on Liberty island. Not even a crate of TNT kills them.
* Anna Navarra in Battery Park.
*I did not try to raid the UNATCO HQ yet - I am saving this for later.
There is nothing I can do about the invulnerable AIs. I even tried to kill them with a cheat.
Hong Kong:We will see if I ever get this far. Of course, everybody can do it and post screen shots. Just make sure that Golden Skull knows about them so he can add them to his web site.

You are probably referring to Azal's Strange & Unusual guides for Thief 2. That has little to do with the Silent Project (which was founded by Golden Skull), but when he makes a guide, a Silent Project screen shot is always a byproduct. Actually, Azal and I have been the most active contributors to the SP - but I make sure that I am always ahead a couple of missions (about 20 now) :)
By the way, although the top priority of the SP is to get as many bodies on the picture as possible, I always try to have as many of them
alive as possible. This is especially funny when you have to run onto the battlefield to take out the terrorists before they are killed by your allies (as in Hell's Kitchen).

Good luck with the MJ12 commandos.

It's easy with a cheat, Simply activate cheatmode
deusex.exe -haxx0r
or opening the talk box and typing
"Set DeusEx.JCDentonMale bcheatsenabled true"
then open the talk box, delete whatevers there and write
"Set DeusEx.@Charactername@ Health 0"
where @Charactername@ is the name of the invunerable AI.
they will now be completely vunerable and capable of kiling with1 shot.

No, Azal wrote his name, with bodies in hells Kitchen and posted a picture up.
I hope he doesn't mind :)

SJamieson - no worries, I was just about to post it myself.
On the topic of the Silent Project - I forsee several difficulties in doing a perfect SP.
In Hong Kong in particular, there are a lot of AIs which you can never get too. If you look out of the window of the Versa Life building you can see the street outside Maggie Chang's building with all the AIs wandering around. But these are not the same AIs you meet in the game. Even if you kill everyone in the alley, they will still appear when you look through the window.
Also, on one of the canal streets you can look through a laneway and see that same street again. At the end of it is a schoolgirl wandering around. But when you get halfway down the alley a new section loads up. It might be possible to lure her out of the alley somehow, but I wouldn't relish the job.
In Paris, when Jake lands you on the roof of a building just before you get to the catacombs, you can see several large bots wandering around the streets. When you make it to ground level though, you find that you cannot get to them.
That's all I can remember right now, it's been a while since I've played the game properly.
