Right, so, when doing one of the Recommendation quests for the Mages Guild - the one in Anvil to be more specific, you have to hook up with a couple battle mages at the Brina Inn just north of the city.
I've completed this quest with another character, but this time it seems to be bugged.
Here's what I did - on my WAY to anvil, I actually found the Brina Inn, and as I could level up, I decided to book a room. Now, it seems you book that room for eternity.
And here's the problem. You need to rent a room at the Brina Inn to trigger the next part of the recommendation quest! But seeing as I've apparently booked the room for life, you can't trigger the next part of the quest!
Any way to bypass this?? For an xbox 360.

Okay, seems its a wellknown bug, hmm.
There's apparently a way to 'reset' the innkeeper. It's of course a cheat.
Sadly, its the only way I can proceed without restarting the game, as I have deleted all savegames prior to resting at the Brina Cross Inn.
Anyone know how you reset the innkeeper? It's for an xbox 360.

I dont think its really possible on an x360. Not without some form of opening the console and working it from there.

Unfortunately I got the same response from the official forums.
Seems I'm starting over again. Well, starting up a new character is half the fun ;)
