any help? It summons a magical, weightless sword/cuirass/watevaitissupposedto which replace any items of that type you may have equiped. When the effect ends, it disappear and the previously equiped item get erm, re-equiped. The summoned items also has constant fortify skill effect eg. a bound long sword would fortify longsword 10 pts, a dagger would fortify dagger, cuirass/helm/ and I think gloves fortify all 4 armour skill and shield would fortify block. Not sure about boots though. Either speed or athletics I think.

If i already have a good sword, chrysamere, does this bound longsword do additional damage, is it based on how much my current sword does?
and for armor the same thing, does it just improve my armor skill, or is it a different armor??

When you cast a bound weapon/armor spell, you temporarily get a weightless weapon/armor piece that you automatically equip. The bound stuff increases some skills and stats when you equip them.
cuirass/helm: 5 points to all armor skills, and I think to unarmored skill too
boots: 10 points to speed
gauntlets: one gives 10 to agility, other gives 10 to handtohand skill
longsword: 10 points to longblade
mace: 10 points to bluntweapon
battleaxe: 10 points to axe
longbow: 10 points to marksman

That looks correct. Also Bound -armor- counts as light for practice purposes but won't gain any effect from skill itself.
