I don't think I've ever listened to a developer more unsuited for the project he got placed on. When you look at the credits it's shocking how much of the game was outsourced to incompetents like this.

Holy crap. That video was so embarrassing, like I actually kinda felt bad for the guy.

He does seem to be making "boss battles" seem like they were somehow fundamentally different, rather than just "angry dude with more health"....which is odd.
I mean, I guess you could plausibly reason that things like "invisibility" or "using the typhoon" or "climbing over walls" require unique, specific tweaks of the AI..but it really wasn't like the boss battles were particularly outstanding in any respect.
I was amused by the whole "and then we'd try it again with a different weapon and say 'was that fun?'" bit, given that really, "SHOOT ENEMY UNTIL DEAD" is fairly unlikely to provide a different meaningful experience each time, regardless of weapon choice.
But hey, it's a pretty common view that the boss battles were dumb as fuck anyway, so ragging on them further seems pointless.

Thanks for that video. Nice complement to (

In both videos, they go on and on about how complex the behavior patterns of the bosses are. Sorry, but I didn't see that at all in the three boss battles I've been through so far.
For example, on the third one:
when Federova wasn't playing cat and mouse - and it was easy to spot her, even when she was cloaked - she would just run straight at me. Whoop-dee-freakin'-do. Also, she often got stuck on walls and would just stand there doing nothing. Sitting duck.
Using the PEPS gun and Typhoon, I killed her in no time. The only "strategy" involved was trying to get her close to a power generator and destroying it, so it would discharge and cause her additional damage. While you had to quickly get out the the vicinity to avoid damaging yourself too much. That, and getting her into spots where there was coolant on the floor to further help conduct the electrical discharges.

I dont' get it. Is he an AI programmer? Design? Sound? He's sitting in front of a sound console talking about AI.
