I was browsing through Penny Arcade! (since the only other webcomic i was reading wasn't going along till 17th sep and i don't know any other) and i found this little strip from '99 which i thought i'd share with you

I play SS2 and SS1 with my friends using the D&D rules. It's pretty fun.

Pah, D&D. I play first edition - not AD&D, just D&D, from back when Mystara was the default swords 'n' sorcery setting instead of the Forgotten Realms. :p

Same here, I have a lovely old blue single-volume which seems to have a lot more character than AD&D. I only use the latter for a few rules, and extra monsters and spells.
