Many of the guild quests, faction quests, Great House quests, Daedra quests, and little side quests are just as interesting as the Main Quest. To say nothing of simply exploring around to find Unique Items and cool places that aren't a part of any specific quest.

Why not just have a skill that has 5 levels such as beginnner through to advanced.
Because they wanted to make a deep role-playing game, and not Deus Ex? Quote:
And what's with all the potions that do absolutely nothing. I had like a thousand bottles that even now I have no clue what they were supposed to do.
If you raise your Alchemy skill high enough, you can tell what each reagent will do before you mix or eat it. Also, the potions actually SAY what effect they have if you mouse over them in your inventory. They spell it out quite clearly.Quote:
Also the inventory limit is annoying becasue I have to drop any cool stuff I find to make room for all those pathetic potions and repair prongs.
Because... most people can carry around a limitless amount of armor and weapons? An inventory size limit forces you to make choices about what is important for you to be carrying, and ultimately what type of character you want to be. Most games have inventory limits. Quote:
Another thing is that the monsters are a bit dull. Aaaaghhh those bloody cliff racers.
Well, I do agree with you there. I limit the amount of time I have to spend in the wilderness, simply cause I hate encountering all those beasties. By about level 15, you should be able to kill any wilderness beast easily, so they just become a nuisance.
I think you're confusing "This game wasn't very well done" with "I don't care for this type of game." Not that everyone has to like every type of game, but just because the game isn't your taste, doesn't mean it's a Bad Game.

once i found my deadric sword i could kill anything easy. Then it became boring, there was no challenge. I just wish they tried to make a more cohesive package as opposed to trying to make a huge gameworld.

i have a slight feeling that this whole site is becoming a chat room.......nothing wrong with that.....AND THOSE DAMN CLIFFIES!!!!!ARRGH!.....

There needs to be more cliff racers in the game, not less.
And demoneyes, if you don't want to repair much, play a mage. Or find a better weapon.

main quest? :weird: Maybe that's your problem :laff:.
I for one thought Morrowind was and is a very good game. With all due respect to Squaresoft, it's no Final Fantasy (and trust me when I say I love that series, linear though it is), but it
is looking toward the future. As one of the devs on Crash Bandicoot 3 said (don't ask why I bring this up), games will eventually become almost entirely open-ended, and as I said, Morrowind is the start of that. There were various little quirks about it (maybe the patches fixes some/many.. I don't know as I haven't installed any :cheeky:), but overall it was great.
As for your other whinings: learn how to play the game :p

Anyhow, read above, that just about explains it all.
Except I think the FF series is a pile of muck, but that's a different matter entirely :cheeky:
