Is it just me or does game get very boring after you done the main quest and seen most of the island. I couldn't be bothered to do any of the sidequests except early on when I needed the money.
I applaud the ambition but this game was poorly designed. You can tell that from the awful menu system and I hate all those annoying stats and screens. Why not just have a skill that has 5 levels such as beginnner through to advanced.
And what's with all the potions that do absolutely nothing. I had like a thousand bottles that even now I have no clue what they were supposed to do. I didn't even bother trying to mix my own when I can buy anything I need from the merchants in town. Also the inventory limit is annoying becasue I have to drop any cool stuff I find to make room for all those pathetic potions and repair prongs.
I don't mind having to reapir my wepaons and armor evrry so often but having to literally do it evry 2 minuites is goddamn annoying.
Another thing is that the monsters are a bit dull. Aaaaghhh those bloody cliff racers. I dowloaded a plugin that took them out of the game but by that I had almost finished with it anyway.
For all Morrowinds good points I think that this game was rushed. Well let's hope that they get it right with Elder Scrolls 4.
Well that's my rant over, flame away.

Welcome to RPGs...stats and inventory limits are part of the package. I thought Morrowind's was quite well done.
Personally, I loved all the side quests. If it had just been the main quest it'd have got dull pretty quickly. And I bet you haven't seen much of the island...I've had the game since release and am still finding new areas, new people and new quests.
Cliff racers are annoying on early levels, like the slaughterfish, but you learn to adapt to them.
I repair my weapons and armour about once a RL month (often less), and I play this game loads. I don't know what you must have been doing to them.
The potions are all labelled...that's kind of a clue as to what to do with them. As for having lots of potions that aren't really useful...I like that in a game. It's a nice touch that emphasises that the world isn't just about the player, isn't just find item x to get to stage b. Not everything you find in the real world is useful to you either.
A question: why were you dropping cool stuff to pick up stuff you didn't want? :weird:
And these are nice happy forums :D We don't flame much

What the hell is a bastard kick?
And demoneyes, go play mario brothers if you feel this game is too complicated.

What's Tuco kick?
Marxist ßastard on 13/7/2003 at 19:01
I'm a bastard, and I kicked him. Ergo, a bastard kick.
RyushiBlade on 13/7/2003 at 22:26
lmao, Tuco, you read that move all wrong.
Morrowind is a very good or very bad game, depending on your own likes or dislikes. Morrowind has been like that from the beginning; either you like it a whole lot or you don't. That's why if you want it, you should atleast try and try it out first. Demoneyes is allowed to say he doesn't like it ^.^
I personally love Morrowind because it's HUGE. There's a ton of stuff to do. I usually have the attention span of a goldfish when it comes to games, because I play it for a while and then think, "Why am I wasting my time with this? It's all the same." Morrowind offers a variety of quests and with both expansions added in there... *shrugs* I think it's a great game even if the default faces SUCK BALLS. Sorry, heh, but they do.

Helloooooo Iraqi Minister of Defense.
Anyway, I really suck as I misunderstood that. But in my defence, I usually see emotes without the emoter's name, like, 'Kick's Exile in the balls.' Instead of 'Tuco Kick's Exile in the balls.'
Also, Exile, why did you choose Marxist Bastard as a new nickname? Because people disliked you so much for intently ruining my story?
Marxist ßastard on 14/7/2003 at 18:10
I'm a bastard, and I'm Marxist. And i like using the letter "ß." Ergo, I am a Marxist ßastard.
