T-Shirt (transformers)
Dressing Gown (oh so soft)
Gift Vouchers (what a lazy present, now I need to think what I want myself, and I already have everything I need... that'll be the lifetime lotro membership then :p)

I got a shitload of DVDs, CDs, and a USB turntable so I can archive my vinyls :D
That's a damn fine gift, turntable I mean. I'd love one, no need to buy cds after that. :)
Personally, I received:
Creative Zen 4gb player + 1gb Kingston SD-card (Way better than Ipods...)
Gift cards to various shops (coffee, music, clothes)
chocolate
a lollypop
a wallet
a stone (made of wool)

A Wii (with Super Mario Galaxy)
Guitar Hero II
A wallet
My birthday falls near Christmas, so the booteh is combined between the two. Still a nice haul :) Also adopted a pair of Siamese Fighting Fish. They're a lot cuter than you'd expect "Fighting Fish" to be.

-Battalion Wars 2
-Metroid Primte 3: Corruption
-Wii Play (mostly wanted the Wiimote, but it can't hurt to get some games with said Wiimote!)
-black gloves
-10-pack of DVD-RWs (especially handy since my new gaming PC is the only one in the house to have a DVD burner)
-6-pin to 4-pin IEEE 1394/FireWire cable (so I can figure out how to take advantage of a camcorder's DV connection on my new PC, which also happens to be the only one with integrated FireWire)
-lava lamp that I had been keeping in my closet but never used that ended up being returned to me in gift wrap
-various sweets, such as gummi bears and fine chocolates
-socks and underwear
-Blockbuster gift card whose amount I don't know simply because it was never written anywhere on the card!
-25 US$ in cash (with which I'll probably buy Armed Assault, IL-2: 1946, or perhaps a TrackIR 4 down the road)
-100 US$ savings bond
That's about the gist of it. (And, no, the new PC alluded to wasn't exactly a Christmas gift in wrapping paper under the tree, but something I spent my own money on over the last few weeks so that I could play all these new games! Left me close to penniless, though.)

Wireless Backup camera for the truck.
New guitar.
Petersen strobe tuner.
A new (for me), Gordon R. Dickson short story collection.
2 sets of silk and steel strings for my 72 Takamine.
3 sets of "light" strings for my 12 string.
A device that holds 100 blank CD's and drops them out one at a time when you need one. Like the toothpick dispensers you see in restaurants. Works great. No fingerprints and dropping CD/DVD blanks when you reach for one.
And a great Prime Rib dinner with twice-baked stuffed potatoes.

I was able to buy my Mom three DVDs she a) didn't already have and b) didn't say 'Oh, these are very nice' in that tone of voice she uses when she's being magnanimous about your failure and wants you to know it, and they actually arrived on Christmas eve despite me ordering them from Amazon on Friday morning. I got ther the remastered Branagh's 'Hamlet', Criterion edition of 'Ran', and an adaptation of 'As You Like It' by Branagh set in a Japanese village, for those of you who were interested.
I was also able to pay off a debt my landlord had been carrying for me for close to 9 months and also give him a bottle of Corzo tequila as a thank you for all the slack. Actually, if he'd kept the books the way he was supposed to it would have about $600 more, and I probably would have been bounced out of here a hell of a long time ago. I finally cleaned my kitchen for the first time in, well, months, to be honest, and sorted out a bunch of papers that were cluttering up my living room floor. All in all, one of the better Christmases in recent memory for me.
