Wait. Did GBM list Flash Gordon as a crap movie?
And you also seem to be suggesting that Craig has made loads of crap movies other than The Jacket (no comment haven't seen).
wtf is going on in here?
Edit: also - which of the Connery or Moore bonds are crap? IIRC only Brosnan has made crappy Bonds, and then only 2 (though the last one was, despite and awesome beginning, a real stinker).

Yes he did. And a little piece of me died inside when I read it :(

I don't know. License to Kill was pretty terrible. In fact most of the Bonds are terrible in retrospect, they were fun at the time though as they were comfortably retreading old ground but then they became utter parody, then pulled back, then became utter parody masquerading as a decent Bond towards the end.
The only Bonds I can rewatch without getting bored or put off by the amount of hideous cheese are: From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Goldeneye, The Spy Who Loved Me, The Living Daylights, and Casino Royale.
Believe it or not, I've still never seen On Her Majesty's Secret Service.

You forgot Doctor No and Man with the Golden Gun, but that's a decent list.
There's something about the old Bond movies that, despite their silliness, is so much more appealing than the newer installments. Maybe those movies are simply a product of their time; from my perspective, movies made in the 60s and even 70s generally have a slower-paced, cozier feel to them that movies in general just don't have these days. I'm thinking of The Pink Panther, which had enormously long scenes of nothing but pointless conversation, and yet it's endearing because of that.
god those are terrible sentences... i can't put my ideas into actual
words

Off the top of my head, I loved him in Munich.

Dr No I've seen once and can't remember so I could be judging it unfairly, but The Man With The Golden Gun doesn't feature on my list for a reason - the entire film is absurdist camp parody, even the central stunt of the entire movie was ruined by that sliderule (ooooooop!-eeeeoooop!) sound effect, not to mention the tobacca-chewin-hell-boi-yeehaa country sheriff. Jesus.
