Well no one told ME he was dead until just this minute. I come home drunk, turn on my computer and the first thing I see is that bob moog is dead? Thinking about it, that film they release a few years ago was a kind of tribute to him, so maybe if I was in the habit of considering things I would have thought about that, but what with James Brown finally getting his PCP-riddled wife-beating corpse shipped off, I panicked for a second and thought that maybe someone was killing off all of the golden oldies to pave the way for an objection-free, no-holds-barred strip-mining of the past, with no one actually left alive to raise even an enfeebled objection.
It sill sucks? I was going to grow up enough one day to pay this guy enough money to build me a special doorbell. I never got to mourn. This guy was pretty much co-culpable for the most rediculous record I have ever owned ('Moog Indigo').
P.S. I think google news has some kind of problem. I checked the thangy and it certainly says that bob died an hour ago.
