(
http://www.everyhit.com/) EveryHit says that three months after hitting #2 with "Groove...", Deee-Lite crawled to #25 in the UK charts with "Power Of Love/Deee-Lite Theme". So I guess that qualifies as another hit, though I haven't heard it.
Happily, it appears that they disappeared from view shortly after that.
they then went on to form a band called Doves. tru story

Does Deelite actually have any good shit besides that song?
I sincerely hope that you're not trying to dis a song which is built around: a Bootsy Collins bass line, horn work by Maceo Parker, and an (as always) excellent rap by Q-tip.

It was Sub-Sub who became Doves, unless I'm missing something.
edit: also, this is quite good. I'm not a particular fan of BoC (1969 is the only one I liked until now), but the 'Trail of Blood' description was enough for me to give it a go.

Hell yes, I'm up for some of that shit. I tried Triangles and Rhombuses and while ago, but I just downloaded Dayvan Cowboy and am now eager for more. Any suggestions?
EDIT: also, thirded on the whole redhead thing.

The new EP is coming soon, (
http://www.warprecords.com/666/) here's a nifty lil trailer. Hope it's more on-target than Campfire was. Might just be me being a dork but the fact they're using old music in the trailer to advertise the new release doesn't sit well with me. Do love that trailer though, and the video to Dayvan Cowboy is quite nice and sweet.
