I would say that since the Council of Nicea (spelling?) the Church has declared the divinity of Jesus Christ. Philipians 2:6-11 is thought to be an early Christian hymn (death on a cross may have been included by Paul who used it in his letter) and sings of "[Jesus Christ], being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God somthing to be grasped...". It therefore is apparent that since the beginnings of the Church Christ was regarded as God.
Oh by the way Jesus says you gotta do his papa's will and believe he is who he says he is to go to heaven.

GBM, I'm not sure if by creationists you mean literal 7 days (which I'm not) or Christians who believe that God made the ex nihilo universe (the model according to Hawking etc which I put forth in Xmas cellulite as the accepted scientific model).

Regardless of the validity of the Bible, doesn't the evolutionary approach with apes as our ancestors make much more sense than what's in Genesis? I'm aware that evolution doesn't answer everything, but Adam & Eve coming to Earth with Super-DNA and starting the world's population with inbreeding <s>sounds</s> is ridiculous.
Does true Christianity require you to believe every single word that stands in the book, without considering that it could be meant symbolically? Or that the author(s) took some freedom to fill in the gaps?

Actually Satan hates Jews because of God's guidance and influence in their history, and if you are a Christian-that entails the belief that when God decided to take human form, he chose the Jews out of all the ethnic groups of the world to make his appearance-which would give the devil even more reason to hate them. Jews couldnt do all of the things they're accused of-if for no other reason than the fact that they're too busy trying to survive in a world full of anti-semite scum trying to harm them.
