Bloodmoon & Tribunal Expansion Compat. - by Christy K.

These questions have probably been asked a million times, but I can't find the answer:
If I'm using regular Morrowind: ESCS III, and I buy the GOTY edition, how will this affect my current game? Would I have to remove the patch from Morrowind.com first? It says not to install if you have B and T, but this would be afterwards.
Also, is Oblivion a whole other game, or more additions to M B/T version? In other words, should I wait for Oblivion because B/T will be included?
Thanks!

Someone's been living under a rock! ;)
Just check out Gamespot.com and you'll notice how beautiful the screenshots are. No, it's not another expansion pack, it's a whole new, beautiful, beautiful game! And I can't wait for it!

Buying the GOTY edition will not affect your game in anyway except when you install tribunal your journal will be reformatted when you load a pre tribunal save, but after you save when you have tribunal you won't need to do it again and there will be a couple extra NPCs who you probably won't even notice untill an assasin attacks when you sleep, then one of these new NPC's can teleport you to an isolated city called mournhold which tribunal is almost completely contained within. Bloodmoon will make an entirely NEW island of the northwest coast of Morrowind and some people might mention this island when you talk about latest rumours and they will tell you how to get there, there is also a new NPC in Ald Ruhn who has questin bloodmoon but otherwise bloodmoon won't affect you in anyway untill you choose to go to it.
Both these expansions are made so they don't affect your game but adds alittle extra which you can do but you have no obligation to do them untill you feel like it (except the tribunal assasins will attack you occasionally when you sleep untill you are refered onto the lady who will transport you to mournhold).
Both are made for highish level characters so you might like to save before going into any caves or sewers but you can generally avoid too much trouble if you don't go looking for it. Most of the badies will be contained in the sewers of mournhold and the badies in the wild of bloodmoon are leveled so the bad ones won't appear untill you are higher level. Though in tribunal you might like to avoid talking to a high elf called Gaynore untill after you have done the tribunal main quest (or strong enough to do it) and if you do talk to him before then if you see him again wearing ebony armour then you might like to stay out of talking distance. And the monsters of the far north of bloodmoon (above the mead hall) tend to be pretty tough comparitive to the level they appear.
And you won't need to remove you patch, tribunal includes the MW patch so it is just telling people who get tribunal and MW at the same time they don't need to download the MW patch.

Ha, to living under a rock! I knew it was a basic question, but needed to know.
I took a three year break to finish my bachelor's degree, then earned my master's...then added a newborn to the mix...I'm finally coming up for air now. Loved this game then and still love it now.
Thanks!
And please check out my teleport question for building a house in the ESC forum if you're handy that way.
