I have a blog called (
https://sleepingtyping.tumblr.com) Sleeping Typing, where I record strange, semiconscious things that I type as I'm about to fall asleep. It started out as an experiment to see if I could actually type while I was asleep, but I enjoyed the results enough that I kept up with it for a while. Most of it is silly although it has provided me with some inspiration for ambient song titles at least, phrases like "It's as sad as a glass, this river," and "A new kind of horn in this section." As far as I know, no one reads it; only two or three people know it exists.

That is some very strange musings. Now four or five people know that it exists.

If any Mr. Robot type person is wanting to hack me and ruin my reputation they need only to put the pieces together from TTLG.

My most favorite thing about getting onto blog sites like Medium is all the posts about how you can make thousands of dollars a month by blogging and they'll tell you how if you click this link or buy this book. I guess the best way to avoid that kind of thing is to scroll past or not be on those sites, and try to get work published by actual publishers. It's only been about four days of blogging and I'm already frustrated.
I just started seeing all sorts of spam on Medium that appears to be written by AI as a story but is clearly of sexual orientation. One story shows something about the sex trade in India and brazenly includes a phone number in the title. I reported the story as spam but I think I'm wasting my time because there is likely to be a lot of it. There are a lot of legitimate authors though and you just have to search for the subjects you like and go that route. What I was hoping for by joining Medium was to be in a group where you can get feedback on your work as well as earn a little cash along the way but I don't think it's all that its advertised to be. I'm learning though. There was a photography website a bunch of years ago called PhotoSIG and I used to post a lot of photo work there when I was working with film, and that group was brutally honest most of the time. I learned a lot from that group though and my skin grew thicker. That's the kind of thing I'm looking for out there on the interwebs but I fear its all mostly just trolls, spammers and scammers.
Oh well, onward and upward I guess....
