Oh don't get me wrong, I do feel sorry for them. That doesn't preclude making fun of the woman who has 5 kids named Leshaun and she tells them apart by their last names, or the entire family wearing NASCAR apparel.
Also I live among rednecks so I have an excuse for not having any patience for these inbred motherfuckers

Ah yes, I remember that. I'm not quite at the bottom of the barrel though. I have a way out and I'm
trying to get out. These people would rather sit where they are than make an effort to better themselves.
I know, doesn't it just feel great to be better than other people? Man, how nice it is. The best thing is we can take total credit for it! I mean, we are completely responsible for who we are and all the things that have ever happened to us! High five!
god I don't even want to try anymore

Yeah, man. Those poor people!
They're like animals, having no thoughts or desires analogous to your own!

Let's not overdo it. Dethtoll is certainly...Okay, actually I have no idea what he is. But I think we're all idiots if we actually think he has nothing but malicious thoughts for the lower class. Naturally, we all esteem ourselves a bit for being better off. Some people who are born at the top tend to take things for granted, and tend to be dicks and opinion is relatively worthless, but I digress.
Point is, although a degree of pity is necessary for someone who is worse off than us, you start to lose your pity when it looks like they're perfectly content to just take hand outs. A person constantly working three or four jobs (It's got to suck if you're even working two jobs for that matter) to survive is in pretty deep, but they keep trying.
As Dethtoll previously stated, not all lower class are blue collar individuals working from day-in to day out. People without jobs, living off welfare, child support, or just working at a Mcdonalds and although they likely could lead better lives by working more, going back to school, whatever, instead choose to make it by with those Walmart sales instead. It's a matter of potential versus potential used.
Is it cool to laugh at blue collar people? But do you simply deservepity just because don't a lot of money? If you're just a lazy prick, that's your fault.
I'm rambling again, anyway, let's lay off some of the insults, I'm pretty sure he doesn't just hate poor people, even if he may have gone off the board a bit with how he stated his opinions of "Walmart shoppers".
Peace and love people, peace and love...

I got trapped in panicking crowds myself at concerts and there's really nothing you can do but try to keep your head up and that of your beloved.

THIS.
I was at my in-laws in Searcy AR (Read: BumFuckEgypt) for Thanksgiving and actually had to go to a Wal-Mart on Black Friday afternoon to get some diapers (No Target). The place looked like a fucking tornado came through there. I saw more ass-cracks, crack-heads, head-jobs, and jobless junkies with 12 filthy kids and 200 extra pounds plodding through the place than you could take in at a Harley Davidson rally. One little girl had mushrooms growing on the bottom of her feet I shit you not.
I live in Bentonville, AR, the home of Wal-Mart, and I drive 40 minutes into Fayetteville every week to go to Target and Harps because I can't stand that place.
That's what I love about Wal-Mart--it brings a little bit of Arkansas to the rest of us.
Not that I have any room to talk considering my mom hails from Tallapoosa

You have no idea what we're talking about. In all fairness neither did I at your age. Perhaps some day you will but you've missed the point spectacularly.

For those whining that dethtoll hates poor people keep in mind that I'm one of those poor people. I'm allowed to have no respect for elements of my own demographic. My own father is a perfect example. The dude has a college degree yet has basically blamed Jimmy Carter for taking away his favourite job and has since then spent much of his time trying to avoid work (which meant I spent most of my childhood in poverty), and now prefers to make money off disability because he lost a toe. I'm sorry, but until they amputate his ass I don't see why he can't still work. People like that only drag down those around them. The situation SubJeff brought up had to do with gun rights, meaning I'd like to be able to protect myself from a neighborhood steadily going to shit- his argument that I should be able to move out irritated me because he refused to believe that maybe, just maybe, I might not have a choice. Just because I don't have the means to move out right away doesn't mean I want to live here. If everyone had the means to move out of shithole neighborhoods then Compton, CA would be a ghost town. I'm trying to move away, but we get fucked pretty hard during economic downturns and the house we have is in any case unsellable aldsjfasldlkdsf getting off track here.
Point is some people just perpetuate their own shitty situations. Got 7 kids and can barely afford to feed them all? Then why are you fucking in the back of your inherited van with a reused condom ('cuz they're expensive!) while Kenny Chesney blares on the radio? Don't you know sexual intercourse is the leading cause of pregnancy in the United States?
But if you're trying to juggle 3 jobs and night classes while keeping your kid warm and fed, kudos to you. You're not the sort of person I have an issue with.
Does that make everything clear for everyone?
