I've come to realise I no longer want to display my exact birthdate in my profile. Year and month is close enough. Yes I'm getting old and whiny. One day you too etc. grumpy man rant etc.

Hence, I tried changing it from "19" to " " in the Edit Profile thingy, but all I got was a "You have entered an invalid birthday". I know I did. That's what I wanted to do.

Is it at all possible to do this by myself, or do I have to contact an admin? If
A) How? Or,
B) You'll be hearing from me.

I noted a side-effect was that my year also vanished, but in retrospect, that doesn't really seem all that important. Everybody already knows I'm an old grumpy bastard. Perhaps it's for the best.

Actually, I don't mind displaying my age (or year of birth), as I could refer to it as a reason for being so grumpy about all things new. I just wanted to remove the actual date. Displaying month & year would be fine, but apparently that wouldn't work, so I removed all birthday data. Why would I want to remove my date? To no longer be seen in the <A HREF="http://www.ttlg.com/forums/calendar.php?">calendar</A>.


If you've been paying attention, you could probably guess why.
