It's an American flag...on fire. I'm not sure where the patriotism is in that. Although I'd say it makes the protaganist look like Duke Nukem or something...you burned my flag now it's time for payback.

I think that the original BioShock helped environments in games because
we had a level of detail that people hadn't really seen before and so, hopefully, BioShock [Infinite] will be able to raise the bar again.
Seriously, Ken?
Seriously? Next he'll be calling BioShock Infinite "Shooter 3.0".

What is he talking about?
I think he's losing his memory.
I didn't think BS was much cop, overall, although (like TDS) it had moments of brilliance. I gave BS2 a miss on that basis and thought this might actually be a change I'd be willing to get into again but meh I can't trust a game with a guy like that at the helm. Unless it gets great reviews from People That Matter nope.

You should have played Bioshock 2. It's better than BS1 by far -- in fact, I'd argue that it's almost as good as System Shock 1.

Can't help my curiosity - are people around here planning on picking up BI on day one, no questions asked? Despite the beating Levine has taken over the years, there still seems to be a significant level of Bioshock interest around here, so I'm not sure where people stand.
My opinion: no way, I'll wait for user reviews and/or subsequent Steam sales.
Also, does anyone really care that much about cover art? I mean, good cover art is great stuff, but bad cover art is certainly nothing I'd ever get excited about.

Honestly I'm not really interested at all. Dishonored scratched that particular itch quite well and the setting doesn't have me hooked.
Mr.Duck on 14/12/2012 at 03:11
Loved both Bioshocks, but as with them at the time (or with most, if not all, games I buy...) I will wait for reviews and impressions. :)
Still interested, of course.

It's not a must buy for me. Dishonored has temporarily satiated my desire to play something new. And given the recent Thief & SS2 exe and DX mod releases, the classics have bubbled to the front of my queue. I'll eventually play it if TTLG gives it the endorsement.

I'm up for it. I've been told I have low standards. I prefer to describe it as not getting hung up on stupid shit.

I'm pretty sure I'll pick up Bioshock: Infinite, largely on account of sufficiently enjoying Bioshock 1&2. Buying it day one will only happen if I'm particularly bored on that day, which seems unlikely (boredom is a luxury I have not experienced for some time now).
