Forget it, Jason. It's Thiefgen.

It's just amusing to me that people who post on a forum that is basically dedicated to immersive sims (at least, more so than anything else) would be upset that a game let them choose to do things without everything being tightly scripted/paced.
Also it amuses me that TTLG's spellchecker puts a red line under the words immersive, sims, and TTLG.

That's your browser - TTLG doesn't have a spellchecker.

But Bioshock Infinite is not really that much of an immersive sim and is tightly scripted/paced/linear. I still think it is one of the most overrated games ever and for me it was just one big disappointment (excluding settings and some nice scenes) from start to finish. And I also think that if you kill people in Skyrim you will be hunted down as a criminal iirc - so the world responds to your actions.

Malf and Vojtechsonik are 100% correct imo. This was not a good game.

If you kill people in BioShock Infinite everyone is hostile to you. In this particular case, I guess they didn't feel like spawning enemies into an empty basement, but still. If you piss someone off enough via trespassing or stealing or if you shoot someone it basically turns the area into a combat zone.

Let's not talk only about this particular case, have you also seen the other video of this guy? And you are right I get it, but it makes no difference in the game/story/progression. In Skyrim, there is a bounty on your head that keeps rising. I just think that whole world felt like a big facade because there was no interaction what so ever. Not to mention stupid AI, linearity, lack of backtracking, 2 weapons system, uninspiring powers and other stuff. This game felt to me like over-hyped poor man's Bioshock only this time with lot of colours and annoying protagonists (with not at all revolutionary AI). Each to their own I guess, but since there are new DLC's I kind of hoped they will improve on game's flaws.

Your opinion is just that, an opinion. 100% subjective and 0% fact.
