Halfway through the Fort Frolic level, the game has begun hesitating. I've done ps3 and bioshock updates. It's very irritating. Anyone know how this can be rectified?

Since it's a console game I don't think you can really do anything about it. You could try turning down the resolution that your ps3 outputs (like if its 1080p then try 720p or something) and turn any graphics options in game down if there are any - but since it is a console game it probably won't have these options or a least not many if it even does.
But yer, not much you can do, sorry.

The game has begun hesitating in the Ft Frolic level while playing. There are 3 saved spots for that area and the 1st one runs fine - nice & smooth, no hesitating at all - that level was autosaved. The second two levels I saved and both of those hesitate. Maybe if I start Ft Frolic over again...?

I've seen other people reporting this problem, but they didn't do anything to fix it - after completing certain objectives at Fort Frolic the problem went away. Maybe try reinstalling the game and re-patching? I'm not sure if that will affect your saved games or if you can back those up.

Thanks - I'll see if I have the patience to get through this level.

Vraptor, you were right. It seemed whenever I encountered the fire thrower splicer the hesitation would end. It alternated on/off-run smooth/hesitate-finally I got past it and have had no problems since. That sure was irritating!
Thanks again for the reply.
