Hint: less fun != no fun. I actually wanted to replay IW as well, but it lags so horribly I decided not to.

excuses.....
The simple fact of the matter is that this developer sucks at ending their games. Both System Shock 2 and Bioshock ended with lame, arbitrary boss fights and un-satisfying endings.

That is an opinion, not a fact.

pointless, insignificant little man.
it is my opinion that it is a simple fact that they suck at making endings.

It is MY opinion that you don't even contribute a .00001% worth of a flaming doo-doo bag to this topic, much less anyone in this community in general.
Until you've released a game that is awesome as SS2/Bioshock, no one at all even has any reason to even read your opinions.

No it's true, they're not very good at ending their games :(

In that case we might as well abolish
discussion forums and start
praise forums, right?
And the ending DOES suck in SS2.

The ending of SS1 was cool 8-)

I don't understand the comparisons between SS2 and Bioshock...They're not intended to be the same game or universe, and they have no connection at all other than being developed by the same developer...Who have also done several OTHER games having nothing to do with either SS2 or Bioshock....
I try to experience Bioshock on it's own merits and not as a comparison to any other game, and I'm enjoying it immensely...
I also enjoyed the SS games and the Thief games and Deus Ex....the first one, not the 2nd, which I thought was simply awful, and killed off the Deus Ex universe for most people...
And in my opinion, even SS2 was terribly inferior to SS1...I was very disappointed in SS2, although I recognise that it was a great game in it's own right....But it was not nearly as immersive and visceral as the original for me..
But...Bioshock is not and never was supposed to be anything LIKE SS2...and to complain that it isn't seems rather silly to me.

Bioshock was announced and publicised as a System Shock spiritual successor. Comparisons are therefore inevitable.
