This is a long shot, but I figured I'd try. Bioshock 2 won't let me progress past Siren alley, because every time I walk into the airlock and drain in and the screen begins to fade to black, the game crashes. I've tried uninstalling updates and reinstalling them, trying to play it without the updates, trying to play it with all graphic settings turned down, installing the latest version of Windows live, renaming the save folder and having it make a new one, etc. and nothing works. My drivers are all up to date.
I'm running in boot camp, Windows 7. It's a new install, but I have all of the service packs and updates. 2.2GHZ i7, Radeon HD 6750M. 8GB RAM, but I may only be able to access 2GB through boot camp. However, this isn't a bootcamp problem - a quick search online revealed that many other people had the same problem, but none of their proposed fixes worked for me.
