Are you trying to run it in DOS or Windows? Have you tried a reinstall? Please give more details.

well, I have tried in both dos and windows (95, 98 and 2000beta !) I have tried with and without unVBE, my mouse and CD drive work well in dos mode.
I've got a Celeron 500, with 128Mo SDRAM, a RIVA TNT2 and a Sound blaster 64.
Whatever I try, the message is the same...
Got any idea ?

I got it running on a K-6 II last year, that had a Rage Pro video card, nasty no-name generic sound card and was running windows 98.
I've got two ideas, either your TNT2 is anti-social (you know snobbish, only drinks those silly boutique beers), in which case look around for FAQ's regarding running older games at RIVA's or TNT dedicated sites.
Or maybe you don't have enough conventional memory, that's always been my biggest problem running DOS games in windows. Hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete ONCE and take a look at whats running, if the list is a long one, trim it. You need Osa, Systray and Findfast if I remember correctly, the rest can go. If you have win98 it has a start-up utility hidden in there some where that should simplify the process.
Otherwise try going to tn.bat, right clicking and selecting properties(should be on the bottem of the quick menu). Click the Program tab and select advanced (A Button at the bottem of the Program card), you can choose to run the prgram as a DOS program, and you can specify the drivers you need from a menu(You won't need to right the lines yourself), that should be your CD(an MSCDEX line), 2d video, sound(digital and MIDI) and your mouse driver.
This is all from memory as my Terra Nova disc is currently 4000km away, and I will have to say it may be a little different in actuallity. Just try it and make use of Windows help as much as you can, you may be the-lucky-first-person-ever to actually find it useful.
When you install TN try to use the generic sound blaster drivers if the AWE-32 ones don't work.
I may come back to this, I may sound confused but I've had TN running on 4 different machines without a great deal of stress, so be sure it can be done and keep trying. The game is unique and you won't be dissapointed when you get it running.
