I'm fairly sure there's a better hazard suit I can pick up before I'm forced to explore Beta but can't find it. I poked around the reactor core (nothing), most of Level 3 (need the maintenance code before I can do anything else), all of Levels 1, 2, 4, and 5 (I think), went through Alpha and... Gamma (?) groves, and most of Level 6 (also needing the code to the maintenance shaft).
And where do the codes on the screens by the elevator on Level 6 go?
I've ran around cspace, too. I think it's only on Level 6 that there's somethings I haven't gotten because they're protected (drill is only v4).

Nope. You can't get a level 2 suit until after beta grove. Level 1 is adequate for there anyway.

Unfortunately you can only get a Lvl 2 Envsuit from the Maintenance level, and you can't get it before going to Beta Grove. And the first Lvl 3 suit you find is in Engineering, so you'll have to settle for the suit you currently have.
One of the codes shown on those screens near the Executive level elevator is the one for the Executive maintenance crawlway (711). I don't think the other code is useful.

Also, I don't recall ever seeing 711 yet. The ones on the two screens are 042 and 692. Or maybe it was 043.... That screen stopped cycling and has been stuck on the Tri-op logo for a while now but the other still flips between Diego and the code.

711 should show up every once in a while. You even find one log mentioning that (although it doesn't tell you that the code is 711, it just says that the Executive maintenance crawlway code has been displayed there).
